Ingredients

  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • Red food coloring (for that blood-red color)
  • Optional: crushed candy cane or sprinkles for decoration

Instructions

  1. Start by gathering all your ingredients and equipment.
  2. Combine the semi-sweet chocolate chips and sweetened condensed milk over medium heat in a saucepan. Stir often.
  3. Remove the saucepan from the heat once melted, and stir in cocoa powder, vanilla extract, and salt.
  4. Add a few drops of red food coloring to your mixture and stir well.
  5. Pour the fudge mixture into a prepared baking pan, spreading it evenly.
  6. Cool to room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 120 minutes.
  7. Remove from the pan using parchment paper, and cut into bite-sized pieces.
