Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 salmon fillets (about 6 ounces each)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley or dill (for garnish, optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Place the salmon fillets skin-side down on the sheet.
  3. Drizzle the olive oil and lemon juice over the salmon fillets.
  4. Mix together the garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper in a small bowl.
  5. Sprinkle the spice blend generously over the salmon fillets.
  6. Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven. Bake for about 15-20 minutes.
  7. Remove the salmon from the oven and let it rest for a couple of minutes.
  8. Garnish with fresh parsley or dill and serve immediately.

Notes

For a milder flavor, substitute baked cod or tilapia for salmon. Serve with seasonal vegetables or a quinoa salad for a complete meal.
