Description

A vibrant, refreshing salad featuring juicy heirloom tomatoes, creamy burrata cheese, and aromatic herbs, perfect for summer.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 ripe heirloom tomatoes
  • 8 oz burrata cheese
  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon balsamic glaze
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • Freshly ground black pepper to taste
  • A handful of fresh basil leaves
  • Optional: 1 small red onion, thinly sliced
  • Optional: 1 avocado, diced

Instructions

  1. Wash and slice the heirloom tomatoes into wedges or bite-sized pieces.
  2. Place the sliced tomatoes in a large salad bowl or platter and add red onion and avocado if using.
  3. Tear open the burrata cheese and place the creamy center atop the tomatoes.
  4. Drizzle with extra virgin olive oil and balsamic glaze, then sprinkle with sea salt and black pepper.
  5. Tear fresh basil leaves and scatter over the salad.
  6. Serve immediately to enjoy the fresh flavors.
