Ingredients

  • 1 cup of barbecue sauce
  • 1/4 cup of olive oil
  • 1/4 cup of apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons of soy sauce
  • 3 tablespoons of honey
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon of onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon of smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: fresh herbs for garnish

Instructions

  1. Combine barbecue sauce, olive oil, apple cider vinegar, soy sauce, honey, garlic, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  2. Taste your marinade and adjust flavors as needed.
  3. Place chicken in a resealable bag or dish, and pour over marinade to coat evenly.
  4. Refrigerate and marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  5. Preheat grill or oven, then cook chicken until fully cooked, about 6-8 minutes per side.
