- 2 cups biscuit baking mix

Instructions
- 1. Preheat your oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- 2. In a large mixing bowl, combine ground sausage, shredded cheddar cheese, biscuit baking mix, garlic powder, and black pepper.
- 3. Using your hands, mix all ingredients together until well combined and the mixture holds together when squeezed.
- 4. Shape the mixture into 1-inch balls and place them on the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 1 inch apart.
- 5. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, rotating the pan halfway through, until golden brown and cooked through to an internal temperature of 160°F.
- 6. Remove from oven and let cool for 5 minutes before serving.
- 7. Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauces like honey mustard, ranch, or barbecue sauce.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days. Reheat in a 350°F oven for 10-15 minutes. Can be frozen for up to 3 months. To freeze, arrange unbaked or baked sausage balls on a baking sheet, freeze until solid, then transfer to freezer bags. Bake frozen sausage balls at 350°F for 25-30 minutes.
