Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with paper liners or lightly grease it.
- Combine the melted butter and brown sugar in a large bowl. Stir until well blended.
- Add the eggs, milk, and vanilla extract to the mixture and mix until fully incorporated.
- Whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and optional cinnamon in another bowl.
- Fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture gently, then fold in the chopped pecans.
- Divide the batter among the prepared muffin cups, filling each about two-thirds full.
- Top each muffin with a few extra pecans, then bake for about 18-20 minutes.
- Allow the muffins to cool in the pan for about 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack.
