Peach Moscow Mule

  • Author: Mark Bennett
  • Total Time: 5 minutes
  • Yield: 1 serving 1x

Description

A refreshing summer twist on the classic Moscow Mule featuring fresh, juicy peaches, spicy ginger beer, and smooth vodka served in an ice-cold copper mug.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 medium ripe peaches, diced
  • 2 ounces vodka
  • 4 ounces ginger beer
  • 1/2 ounce fresh lime juice
  • 1/2 ounce simple syrup
  • Ice cubes as needed
  • 4–5 fresh mint leaves
  • 1–2 peach slices for garnish

Instructions

  1. 1. Add diced peaches and simple syrup to a copper mug or highball glass. Muddle thoroughly to release the fruit’s juices and create a flavorful base.
  2. 2. Add fresh lime juice and vodka to the muddled peach mixture. Stir briefly to combine all ingredients.
  3. 3. Fill the glass completely with ice cubes, preferably large cubes for slower melting.
  4. 4. Pour ginger beer over the ice, allowing it to mix naturally with the ingredients below. Stir gently once or twice to combine.
  5. 5. Slap mint leaves between your palms to release aromatic oils, then add to the drink as garnish.
  6. 6. Garnish with fresh peach slices and a lime wheel. Serve immediately while cold and fizzy.

Notes

For best results, use ripe, in-season peaches. The cocktail is best enjoyed immediately after preparation to maintain carbonation. Can substitute with frozen peaches if fresh aren’t available. Store leftover peach puree refrigerated for up to 3 days or freeze for longer storage.
