- 1 lb kielbasa (or substitute with turkey sausage or chicken sausage)
- 2 cups mixed veggies (bell peppers, broccoli, carrots, or any of your favorites)
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup soy sauce (or tamari for a gluten-free option)
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil (or any vegetable oil you prefer)
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Start by slicing the kielbasa into bite-sized pieces.
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add the sliced kielbasa and allow it to cook for around 5–7 minutes until it’s brown and slightly caramelized.
- Whisk together honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- Once the kielbasa is browned, toss in the mixed veggies.
- Pour your honey garlic mixture over the kielbasa and veggies.
- Continue cooking for about 10 more minutes.
- Remove the skillet from the heat and sprinkle some fresh parsley on top if desired.
