Ingredients

  • 6 to 8 ripe peaches, peeled, pitted, and sliced
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup old-fashioned oats
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
  • ½ teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine sliced peaches with granulated sugar, lemon juice, and ground cinnamon in a large bowl.
  3. Mix together oats, flour, brown sugar, softened butter, and salt until crumbly.
  4. Spread the peach mixture in a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
  5. Sprinkle the oat topping generously over the peaches.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes until topping is golden brown and peaches are bubbling.
  7. Allow to cool for a few minutes before serving with vanilla ice cream.

Notes

For a gluten-free version, use almond flour instead of all-purpose flour. Substitute butter with vegan alternatives for a dairy-free option.
