Delicious and easy no-bake chocolate oatmeal bars packed with wholesome ingredients.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 1 cup natural peanut butter (or almond butter for nut-free option)
  • 1 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1 cup dark chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • A pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Prepare an 8×8-inch baking dish by lining it with parchment paper.
  2. Melt the peanut butter and honey together in a medium saucepan over low heat.
  3. Stir in the vanilla extract and a pinch of salt once the mixture is smooth.
  4. Add the cocoa powder and mix well to eliminate lumps.
  5. Fold in the rolled oats and dark chocolate chips until well coated.
  6. Press the mixture firmly into the prepared baking dish.
  7. Chill the bars in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
  8. Cut the bars into squares or rectangles after they have firmed up.

Notes

You can use sunflower seed butter for a nut-free alternative and agave syrup for a vegan option. For added texture, consider including chopped nuts or shredded coconut.
