  • Yield: 4 servings 1x

Description

Delightful mini grilled cheese sandwiches made with sweet Hawaiian rolls and gooey cheese, perfect for snacks or party appetizers.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package (12-count) Hawaiian rolls
  • 8 ounces sliced cheese (cheddar, American, or your favorite blend)
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley (optional)
  • Cooking spray or additional butter for the pan

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Slice the whole package of Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally, keeping them connected.
  3. Mix the softened butter with garlic powder and dried parsley (if using), then spread this mixture evenly across the cut sides of the rolls.
  4. Layer your cheese slices generously on the bottom half of the rolls.
  5. Press the top half of the rolls back onto the cheese layer.
  6. Prepare a baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper or spraying it with cooking spray.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for about 10 minutes, then remove the foil and bake for an additional 5 minutes.
  8. Cool for a few minutes before cutting into individual rolls.

Notes

Consider adding sliced tomatoes or jalapeños for extra flavor, and use whole grain rolls for added fiber.
