Description

Transform ordinary chicken breasts into a tender, juicy delight with this easy recipe. Perfect for weeknight dinners or special occasions!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
  • 1 cup chicken broth (low-sodium)
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice (optional)
  • Fresh herbs (like parsley or thyme) for garnish

Instructions

  1. Start by pounding the chicken breasts gently with a meat mallet to an even thickness.
  2. Next, season both sides of the chicken breasts with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
  3. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat.
  4. Sear the chicken for about 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  5. After both sides are seared, add the butter to the skillet.
  6. Pour in the chicken broth, and if you’re opting for the lemon juice, add it in now.
  7. Once cooked, remove the chicken from the skillet and let it rest for a few minutes.
  8. Lastly, slice the chicken and pour some of that luscious sauce over the top before serving.

Notes

If preferred, substitute olive oil with avocado oil, or use vegetable broth for a vegetarian option.
