Description

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3–4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Season the chicken breasts generously with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  3. Add the seasoned chicken breasts and sizzle for about 6-7 minutes per side.
  4. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  5. Toss in the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds.
  6. Pour in the chicken broth, scraping up any browned bits.
  7. Let it simmer for about 2-3 minutes, then stir in the heavy cream.
  8. Add the chopped sun-dried tomatoes, dried basil, and oregano, and let simmer for about 5 minutes.
  9. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted into the sauce.
  10. Return the chicken to the skillet, and let cook together for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  11. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
