Description
Indulge in a rich, warm dessert that combines the fudgy decadence of brownies with the comforting feel of bread.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- ½ cup hot fudge sauce (store-bought or homemade)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan with cooking spray or line it with parchment paper for easy removal.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the melted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar. Use a whisk to blend them until the mixture is nice and smooth.
- Add in the eggs, one at a time, blending thoroughly after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
- In another bowl, sift together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
- Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture. Use a spatula to combine gently.
- Once the batter is combined, stir in the chocolate chips and half of the hot fudge sauce.
- Pour the batter into your prepared loaf pan, spreading it evenly. Drizzle the remaining hot fudge sauce on top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes. Use a toothpick to check for doneness.
- Allow the bread to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
