Description
Tender, flaky salmon fillets glazed with a sweet and savory honey garlic sauce, baked to perfection in just 20 minutes for an easy weeknight dinner.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 salmon fillets (6 oz each), skin-on or skinless
- 1/3 cup honey
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 teaspoon sesame seeds (optional)
Instructions
- 1. Preheat oven to 400°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and brush lightly with olive oil.
- 2. In a small bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, lemon juice, and black pepper until well combined.
- 3. Reserve one-third of the glaze in a separate container for basting and serving.
- 4. Pat salmon fillets dry with paper towels and place on prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each piece.
- 5. Brush salmon generously with the glaze, coating tops and sides completely.
- 6. Bake for 12-15 minutes, basting once halfway through with reserved glaze.
- 7. Salmon is done when it flakes easily with a fork and reaches an internal temperature of 145°F.
- 8. Remove from oven and let rest for 2 minutes.
- 9. Garnish with fresh parsley and sesame seeds. Drizzle with remaining glaze before serving.
Notes
Store leftover salmon in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3-4 days. Reheat gently in the microwave or oven. Serve with steamed vegetables, rice, or salad. For a spicier version, increase red pepper flakes to taste.
