  • Total Time: 75 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings 1x

Description

A savory and comforting meatloaf packed with rich flavors and perfectly blended ingredients.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 ½ pounds ground beef (or a blend of beef and chicken)
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs (use gluten-free if necessary)
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon dried Italian herbs
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ cup milk (or a dairy-free alternative)
  • Optional: 1 tablespoon hot sauce for a kick
  • For glaze: ½ cup ketchup mixed with 1 tablespoon brown sugar

Instructions

  1. Begin by preheating your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, chopped onion, minced garlic, grated Parmesan cheese, Worcestershire sauce, dried herbs, salt, pepper, and milk.
  3. Once mixed, transfer the meat mixture to a lined loaf pan.
  4. To make it extra flavorful, spread the ketchup and brown sugar mixture generously over the top of the meatloaf.
  5. Place the meatloaf in the preheated oven and bake for about 60 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).

Notes

For healthier alternatives, consider swapping ground beef for turkey, using whole grain breadcrumbs, or substituting eggs with flaxseed meal.
