Description

Deliciously crispy shrimp coated in garlic and Parmesan for a gourmet comfort food experience.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs (panko for extra crunch)
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • Olive oil spray or cooking oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Combine the breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, paprika, salt, and black pepper in a bowl.
  3. Whisk the eggs in a separate bowl and then add the flour, blending until smooth.
  4. Dip each shrimp into the egg mixture, then transfer to the breadcrumb mixture and press to coat.
  5. Place the shrimp on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and lightly spray them with olive oil.
  6. Bake for about 10-12 minutes or until crispy, considering broiling for the last couple of minutes.
  7. Remove from the oven and rest for a minute before sprinkling with parsley and serving immediately.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or freeze for 2-3 months. Reheat in the oven or air fryer for the best texture.
