Description

A delicious, creamy Alfredo casserole that’s a perfect comfort food, combining rich Alfredo sauce with hearty pasta and your choice of protein.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 ounces of pasta (penne or rotini)
  • 2 cups of shredded rotisserie chicken (or any preferred cooked protein)
  • 4 cups of Alfredo sauce (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup of grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon of onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the pasta according to the package instructions but reduce the cooking time by 1-2 minutes; drain and set aside.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked pasta, shredded chicken, Alfredo sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Pour the mixture into a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
  5. Sprinkle the top with shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan cheese.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  7. Remove from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes before serving. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley.

Notes

For a lighter version, use whole-grain pasta and Greek yogurt instead of heavy cream.
