Description

A refreshing twist on iced tea featuring a delightful blend of black tea and sweet cherry flavors, perfect for sunny afternoons.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 cups of water
  • 4 black tea bags (or your favorite loose leaf tea)
  • 1 cup of cherry juice (preferably unsweetened)
  • 1/2 cup of granulated sugar (adjust to taste)
  • 1 tablespoon of fresh lemon juice
  • Ice cubes
  • Fresh cherries for garnish (optional)
  • Mint leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Bring 4 cups of water to a rolling boil. Remove from heat and add black tea bags to steep for 10 minutes.
  2. Combine cherry juice, granulated sugar, and fresh lemon juice in a large pitcher and stir until sugar is dissolved.
  3. Remove tea bags after steeping and allow tea to cool slightly before adding to the pitcher.
  4. Mix the lukewarm tea with the cherry mixture and refrigerate for at least 1 hour until well chilled.
  5. Serve in glasses filled with ice and garnish with fresh cherries and mint leaves if desired.

Notes

For a healthier option, substitute sugar with natural sweeteners or replace cherry juice with sparkling cherry soda.
