- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded or cubed
- 1 box (6 ounces) of stuffing mix
- 1 can (10.5 ounces) cream of chicken soup
- 1 cup chicken broth (low-sodium recommended)
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 cup mixed vegetables (frozen or fresh)
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Gather all ingredients and ensure your chicken is pre-cooked and shredded or cubed.
- Combine the cooked chicken, cream of chicken soup, chicken broth, and milk in a large mixing bowl. Stir in garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until well mixed.
- Add your mixed vegetables to the chicken mixture, evenly distributing them.
- Prepare the stuffing mix in a separate bowl according to the package instructions.
- Layer the chicken and soup mixture evenly in a greased 9×13 inch baking dish. Spoon the prepared stuffing on top.
- Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the top of the stuffing.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and the edges are slightly golden.
- Let the dish cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
For a vegetarian option, replace chicken with mushrooms or a plant-based protein. Use low-sodium broth and cream of chicken soup to reduce sodium intake.
