- 1 medium head of green cabbage, chopped
- 1 large carrot, julienned or thinly sliced
- 1 bell pepper, sliced
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 inch ginger, minced or grated
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: crushed red pepper flakes
- Optional protein: tofu, chicken, or beef
- Garnish: sesame seeds or green onions
Instructions
- Start by heating a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the sesame oil.
- Toss in the minced garlic and ginger, stirring for about 30 seconds.
- Add the chopped cabbage to the skillet and stir frequently for 3-4 minutes.
- Next, throw in the carrots and bell pepper for another 2-3 minutes until tender.
- If adding protein, toss it in and cook until heated through.
- Pour in the soy sauce and rice vinegar, mixing well.
- Cook everything together for another 2-3 minutes.
- Finally, taste and adjust seasonings, garnishing with sesame seeds or green onions before serving.
