- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 packet of ranch dressing mix
- 1 cup of buttermilk (or plain yogurt as a substitute)
- 1 cup of breadcrumbs (panko for extra crunch)
- ½ cup of grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon of olive oil
- 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon of onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Combine buttermilk and ranch dressing mix in a medium bowl, stirring well.
- Place the chicken breasts in the bowl, ensuring they’re fully submerged. Marinate for at least 30 minutes.
- Mix breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, and a pinch of salt and pepper in another bowl.
- Take the chicken out after marinating, letting excess liquid drip off. Dredge in the breadcrumb mixture.
- Place the coated chicken breasts on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and drizzle with olive oil.
- Bake for about 25-30 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Let the chicken rest for a few minutes before slicing.
Notes
For gluten-free, use gluten-free breadcrumbs. For added protein, substitute Greek yogurt for buttermilk.
