Description
Crispy and healthy Air Fryer Zucchini Chips make for a delicious snack that is easy to prepare and guilt-free.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 medium zucchinis, sliced thinly (about 1/8 inch)
- 1–2 tablespoons olive oil or cooking spray
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika (smoked for extra flavor)
- 1/2 teaspoon sea salt (adjust to taste)
- Freshly cracked black pepper (to desired taste)
- Optional: Grated Parmesan cheese or nutritional yeast for a cheesy flavor
Instructions
- Wash the zucchinis thoroughly. Once cleaned, cut the zucchinis into thin slices—aim for around 1/8 inch thick.
- Place the sliced zucchini in a bowl and drizzle the olive oil over them. Toss the zucchini slices carefully to coat them evenly.
- Combine garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper in a separate small bowl. Sprinkle this seasoning mixture over the zucchini slices and toss again until they are coated uniformly.
- Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C). Once preheated, arrange the zucchini slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
- Cook the zucchini slices for about 15–20 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through the cooking time.
- Once done, the zucchini chips should be golden brown and crispy. Let them cool slightly before serving.
Notes
For healthier alternatives, consider using nutritional yeast instead of Parmesan cheese. Ensure slices are evenly cut for best results.
